Certified Nurse Assistants

Position Summary:

At May Sun Home Health Nurses, our CNAs are the heart of the care team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on support to clients in healthcare facilities and long-term care settings. You’ll work under the direction of registered nurses or physicians, delivering personal care with the same empathy and dignity you’d want for your own loved ones.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, personal care based on individualized care plans.

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, etc.).

• Report changes in client conditions to the supervising nurse or physician.

• Follow safety protocols and infection control practices at all times.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations.

• Promote dignity, comfort, and independence in every interaction.

• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and facility staff.

• Maintain confidentiality of all client and organizational information.

• Participate in required health screenings and in-service trainings.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.

• At least one year of verifiable experience as a CNA.

• Current CPR certification.

• Successful completion of written evaluations and competency screenings.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism.

• Background checks and screenings completed per state regulations.
